|Location:||NCT,, 30 Euston Square,, London, PL6 6AD|
Arranging and attending 4-5 first aid events a year. Events are 2.5 hours in duration, normally held on a Wednesday Morning at Blindmans Wood Scout Hut.
You will manage the organisation of Baby First Aid courses and liaise with British Red Cross to deliver the course to local parents and raise funds for the Branch.
Our mission is to support parents throughout the first 1,000 days to have the best possible experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
We do this though three interconnected aims;
• sharing knowledge: informing parents’ decisions and increasing their confidence,
• creating networks: forging vital friendships,
• harnessing voices: changing public policy and attitudes for good.
Volunteers, parents, grandparents, and expectant parents just like you, run our branch. You don’t need to take on huge tasks, just commit whatever time you can. It is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and represent the NCT. We are currently looking for volunteers for a variety of roles.
We also have numerous trainee midwives and social care workers who volunteer with us to gain experience with children.
