Awareness Co-ordinator

Name: Awareness Co-ordinator
Organisation: BJ TRUST
Location: 172 Exeter Street, Plymouth, PL4 0NG
Type: Part Time
when volunteers are needed to market the existence of the BJ Trust charity to local education and youth organisations.

BJ Trust is a grant-making charity. Its purpose is to assist young people within Plymouth, who are in full-time education, to achieve their full potential. It does so by providing financial assistance for opportunities offered as a result of a competitive selection process. Such assistance is not dependent on any means testing of parents or guardians.

The Trustees are aware that the target recipients are unaware of the existence of the Charity and are looking for assistance with remedying that situation.

The role would be suitable for anyone with a desire to assist a charitable cause within Plymouth, though knowledge of both youth and educational organisations within Plymouth and marketing mechanisms for the successful targeting of young people would be advantageous.

Reasonable expenses as defined by the Charity Commission will be reimbursed if requested.

A paid position may be available.
