We ask for a commitment of one half day each week minimum, Monday-Thursday, and are flexible depending on your availability.
seAp Advocacy has a busy office based at Milehouse, Plymouth and our team of Advocates require admin support. This would involve typing up case notes, keeping minutes of meetings, maintaining diaries and generally ensuring the office runs smoothly.
In addition, we host and attend events within the region to promote our services and inform the public and professionals of what we offer and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would also be happy to assist with this at times.
A national charity providing an independent advocacy service to support people, especially the most vulnerable in society, to have their voice heard, access their rights and have more control over their lives.
You should have a reasonable level of IT skills.
You should be an organised and reliable person.
You should have good interpersonal skills, for the events and networking role.
This volunteering opportunity gives you the opportunity to gain:
