Description

Do you have a special talent or hobby you enjoy and happy to share with someone else? As a volunteer supporting activity as part of our Supported Housing Schemes, you will organise and facilitate a group of residents, supporting their individual needs within the activity. As part of the role, you will engage with the resident, encouraging them to participate, build rapport and improve their skills along the way. Residents are always keen to try something new and learn new skills..

• Liaise with Activity coordinator to arrange activity
• Welcome the group, explaining and ensuring they understand what is happening
• Control the flow of the session and keep to timing
• Spend time meeting and greeting the attendees
• Assist with tea and coffee during the break
